The Synthphony REMIXed! series continuesc.. Hot on the heel of Volume 1, Synthphony Records presents to you Synthphony REMIXed! Vol. 2 remixed by Freddy Hajas. This is another limited edition cd presented in a 6 page digipak package format. 1000 copies were pressed and only 900 will be made available for sale. Each cd will have a individual sticker stating the number of that cd. Each unique number comes with its own upc coding assuring the authenticity of that cd and preserving the collectability of this limited edition cd.

Limited to 300 copies only. Volume 7 of the Synthphony REMIXed! series represents a new era of aural entertainment for a couple of reasons. Over the past year, we’ve brought you six volumes filled with dozens of cutting-edge electronic acts remixed by a singular musician with their own unique interpretation of the songs provided. This, our latest installment, continues this tradition but we allowed an array of hand-picked maestros from around the globe to offer their vision. The variety of talent on this volume is also noticeably varied as the conceptual plan was to include artists not pigeonholed into any one music genre or niche. What ultimately transpired were positive responses from our invitations by the underground stars of the industrial, gothic and electro worlds. Bands like The Eternal Afflict, Mortiis and Cat Rapes Dog are legendary in certain circles as the torchbearers for alternative’s darker underbelly. And along the same linear line as modern, aggressive punk rock is the boot-stomping synthetik mayhem that acts like Das Ich, dAVOS, Massiv in Mensch and Urceus Exit exude stylistically. In order to lighten things up a bit, we appealed to familiar favorites like Virtual Server (featuring Germany’s Rename) alongside the bouncy sounds of Swedish newcomers Thermostatic. To round things out, there’s a few unclassifiable, but still no less intriguing, artists like Orphee, Sara Noxx and Urceus Exit which run the full gamut from ethereal beats to trance-infused electronica.

My, how time flies. It seems like almost yesterday that Synthphony Records released, "Synthphony 2001: Russian Strike" featuring the techno-laden skills and mad beats of Russian based producer, musician and remixer, DJ RAM. His intoxicating effect upon the electronic-pop scene's heaviest hitters such as Nocomment, Red Flag, Echoing Green and Sara Noxx seduced a legion of new fans and turned quite a few heads both in the U.S. and internationally. We proudly present Volume 6 of the Synthphony REMIXed! series. This time we suggested that a variety of established and newcomers be approached for the DJ RAM treatment. As usual, he had no problems securing a host of familiar (Psyche, Freezepop, !distain, Blue October, Neuropa etc.) names and several rising stars (Bobby, The Promise, P24 and Hungry Lucy) smattered with a healthy dose of side projects and edgier acts. The result of these unions, obviously, is in your hands. After reviewing these newest creations, we're certain that his popularity will only continue to soar and look forward to following his career, especially seeing his name in marquee lights headlining next to the names of the world's most famous DJ's.

Over the past four installments of this series, we’ve featured International remix artists from Germany, Brazil, Italy and Belgium. Now, Synthphony Records is proud to add Sweden’s own Chinese Theatre to our community of talent in this latest volume. Krister Pettersson’s project injects that feel-good, bubbly, early 80’s analogue synth euphoria (see Depeche Mode’s ‘Speak and Spell’ and Yazoo’s ‘Upstairs at Eric’s’ for reference) into today’s modern electropop scene. It is our distinct and humble pleasure to present our latest installment of the limited Synthphony REMIXed! series. And boy, do we have a whopper for you this time, dear listener! This edition features the formidable skills of one of electronic music's rising and shining stars, XP8, for a tour de force of pounding club rhythms to entice your senses and move your feet. XP8 formed in Rome, Italy in 2000 by long-time friends and musicians Paul Toohill and Marko Resurreccion after their experimental band, Retina, had reached a creative plateau. Recruiting Marco Visconti to join and complete their new vision, XP8, (defintion: "ex•pi•ate: To make amends or reparation for; atone; expiate one's sins by acts of penance") began work on a project which would incorporate almost every alternative genre and personal influence into one cohesive, synthetik nirvana. Idling somewhere between industrial dance, futurepop and hard EBM, it's categorically difficult to classify their unpretentiously original style.

One of our goals for this Synthphony REMIXed! Limited Edition Series is to present electronic music in an unbiased and uncompromising manner. We strive to break the excessive genre and sub-genre barriers down with innovative musicians who express their talents through influence and artistic creative freedom. This latest volume features Belgium's own Len Lemeire of Implant fame take on several of his fellow label mates from the highly regarded Alfa Matrix stable of artists. Len's unique approach to remixing combined with his own original compositions has earned him a reputation for releasing captivating product and worldwide respect within the electro community for his stamp of excellence.

The first remixer up is Harald Schoger from Intelligent Communications in Germany. While we feel very fortunate to have him lend his name to one of our remix project cds, we think you will agree that the same, careful attention culled by two decades of experience writing and creating music will be clearly evident in this collection. Harald Schoger solicited a myriad of up-and-coming (and a few veteran) bands to be given the golden Schoger Touch, and predictably received little resistence.
