<description>Todd, thank you for loving music and no need to apologize. ADD is a VITAL presence online, and I will try to be more consistent with my purchases from you. The thought of fans loving the words to songs when the artist only sold a few copies is a scary thought to remember. Album sales sadly are the only reason most companies consider an artist legit, and without the monster backing then most artists could never reach their audience to elicit 'album sales'.

Thank you again. My family has kicked off '09 with a commitment to stay better connected, and I will make the same effort to remind Alphaville, The Echoing Green, Real Life and many others that I love them every day that I live. Great job, serious.

		<description>Todd,

Good job! Smack down those stinkers who think they deserve a free ride. I only buy legitimate tracks or CDs and have gotten pretty frustrated with the jpop scene as it\'s hard to get good buys without accidentally buying pirated crap. I don\'t use any \&#34;sharing\&#34; applications for music, although I might use bittorrent for Linux distros. One thing I really hate about bittorrent related applications is that they automatically share folders if you\'re not very careful.

Because of that, if you have a family PC that you rip music to and you have some dumb kids installing crapware, then you can quite easily share files without even knowing it. I use firewalls to make sure this sort of thing doesn\'t happen on my PC...

		<description>Todd,

I had to read this after your post on facebook. I have to say that you did a great job on this blog post, and I wish more people worldwide could see this and wake up to the reality that buying pirated content is hurting the artists and only benefitting thieves, that are probably involved in even more heinous crimes as well, that i will not mention.

I have some friends in Moscow, and one is an FBI agent. Perhaps I should share this with them!
