Emmon “Nomme” $20 — This is a limited edition release of the 3rd Emmon full-length album.   There are only 500 available worldwide.  This ultra-cool synthpop / new wave gal knows her stuff, making catchy songs with unique personality and polish.  You can watch two videos for songs from the new album, and order the CD here :

Clan of Xymox “Darkest Hour” $15 — One of the legends of the darkwave genre is back with a new studio album.   With roots in the 80’s that spanned from new wave to electronica to gothic rock, they’ve continues to appeal to fans of several different underground styles through the years.  Order the new CD album here :

Hurts “Illuminated” (MCD) $11 — It may seem like almost every song from the Hurts album “Happiness” is coming out on a single.  Well, that’s because every song on the album is worthy of a single.   However, the singles don’t provide much in the way of bonus tracks.  This one has a nice bonus as it includes “Better Than Love (Freemasons Pegasus Club Mix)” as an added extra.  Still, Hurts is a band worth collecting.  I imagine they have what it takes to get very big with time.  Order the CD single here :

Synthetixxx “Magia de Cuatro” $18 — Though this CD is imported from Russia, it features high energy synthpop sung in the Spanish language.  With strong female leads, and a style that borders sometimes on club trance music, it has appeal to electronic music fans of varying tastes.   There is a song you can hear (not official video) on A Different Drum’s website, and you can order the CD here :

Ou Est le Swimming Pool “The Golden Year” $22 — OK, they have a strange band name, but these guys are joining in the new wave revival that seems to be growing in the indie music scene with bands like Mirrors, Hurts, and White Lies gaining some mainstream popularity, if not in the USA, then in Europe.   These guys also have a punchy sound and new wave flavor that seems to be propelling them to an impressive level of success.   Check out a couple of their videos and order the CD here :
